Stefano Nucera aka Calamaro – About Me

Hi, I’m Stefano, but maybe you know for my nickname Calamaro, for my podcast BroomWagon, for my huge passion for bicycles and because, hey, I really never stop talking so my voice is really recognizable.

I produce content in general and podcasts in particular, and digital strategy is my cup of coffee.

I studied communication and it came naturally because they say I started talking before walking when I was one year old and I didn’t stop since then.

In my life I talked with a lot of people and in my career I worked for agencies and companies I share values and identities.

I have been in online marketing since 2008, and my last six years are probably the most successful ones, having worked with companies like:

Babbel (world’s leader app for learning languages) as SEM Manager with a lot of space to explore also Content Marketing, Product Management, and B2B marketing, and yes, I also was the face of the company for many digital campaigns. This impacted my life so much as people would recognize me on the street and pointing on how many languages I speak (three, just three and unfortunately not so much German);

Ava Women (femtech visionary startup winner of the Best Swiss Startup Award in 2017 and 2018) as Global Digital Marketing Manager where I had the huge honor to work for improving women’s lives.

I also talked my way true producing many podcasts like the BroomWagon about cycling stories and inspirations; 4 Verticale first Babbel’s podcast; the Silk Road Mountain Race and the Atlas Mountain Race podcasts for two of the most challenging bike races of the ultra-endurance landscape; Una Situazione Straordinaria for the Swiss Parliament.

I thrive on telling good stories and shaping digital and content strategy for companies, institutions, events I would love to hug, even better if there are cyclists around.
